Freedom Ecstatic Dance, Swim and Jam!-FREE

 Let’s dance, swim and jam together to celebrate freedom!  Here, we can be free to completely express the full range of the human experience through dancing and music.  Please bring a swimsuit, towel, instrument and hearts! Plant based snacks are welcome! This is a contribution-based community outreach event to bring a sense of belonging, connection and fun in a safe and supportive environment! No experience necessary. 

Event Details:

IMPORTANT NOTE: We recommend arriving at 6:45pm as the gates will close at 7pm. Please show up ON TIME by 7pm so we don’t have interruptions to our connection and our process. 

• REGISTRATION - Please register for the event to have a smooth check-in. Exact address will be provided after registration. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE.

• CONTRIBUTION-BASED EVENT -  We are a community and it takes a community to make these events happen.  We do incur costs for utilizing a registration app ($142.50 mo), advertising (Meetup $17.90 mo), and supplies (Cacao/propane).  Of course, the garden also needs upkeep and supplies.  Please consider helping so we can continue to offer these events.*

• AGENDA: Dance 7:00-8:30, Swim and open jam 8:45 until 10.

• ENVIRONMENT:  This is an outdoor space! The ground is uneven and there are wood chips. Wear good shoes.  Dress for the weather. We will have cushions to sit on in the Portal of Consciousness (conversation pit).   We have a composite deck and concrete patio that is also available for dancing.  We have an inground, unfenced pool.
• ECSTATIC DANCE:  No experience necessary.  Please remove your shoes, shut down your phone (no photos/videos), and keep all conversations away from the dance area.  Please respect everyone's space and process.  All physical touch may be gained through consent.  This practice is a solo experience in a group space.  
• SWIM AND OPEN JAM: Bring your swimsuit, towel and instrument.  This will be an organic process!  
• PARTICIPATION:  Any volunteers to help set up and clean up are appreciated!  Additionally, if you would like to be part of the "garden team" to keep the grounds looking beautiful on a regular basis, please contact Water.
