Join us for a fun casual night of music, poetry, comedy and surprises!

Have a hidden talent you want to share?  This is an OPEN MIC event for you to get on stage and shine!  All levels welcome.  You will be accepted and loved!  Bring a plant-based dish to share. 

Event Details:

IMPORTANT NOTE: We recommend arriving at 5:45pm as the gates will close at 6pm.  Please show up ON TIME by 6pm to support our early stage performers and to have a smooth check-in.  If you cannot come that early, you will still be welcome at this event.  Please message so we can expect your arrival.

  • CONTRIBUTION-BASED EVENT - We are a community and it takes a community to make these events happen.  We incur costs for utilizing a registration app, advertising and supplies.  Please consider helping so we can continue to offer these events.*
  • Cost per person - FREE.   Please register for the event to have a smooth check-in. 
  • Bring your voice, your instrument, your poem, your costume, your art, your dance, or whatever you want to contribute.  
  • Open jam!  Good times with good people.  We will have random jams throughout the night. 
  • Pot luck - the Empower House is a meat free space!  If you choose to bring food to share, please keep that in mind - THANKS!
  • This is an outdoor space! Dress for the weather.  The ground is uneven and there are wood chips. Wear good shoes.   
  • We always welcome contributions of plants, soil, containers and other gardening supplies for the community garden and of course monetary donations are extremely appreciated. Will you consider donating? All monetary contributions are 100% put toward this community space! Any contributions can be paid through the registration app, in person at the event or through Venmo - @Water-Shepherd 
  • Any volunteers to help set up and clean up are appreciated!
